During the pandemic, I turned to calligraphy as a new creative skill to master. Some of the best instructors in the world switched to online courses, and I jumped at the opportunity. I found the calligraphy and lettering community to be generous and supportive, and the time spent on classes or homework became a welcomed escape during a turbulent time.
