Identity for Energy Explorator & Producer

Proposal for a new identity system for a leading independent oil and gas exploration and production company based in North America. The concept revolves around the idea of geology: exploring what is underneath the surface by juxstaposing organic shapes with images of stable minerals. An evolution to their calligraphic wordmark, placed always above the surface, grounds the elements together.

The project took place at Landor Associates, under Chris Lehmann’s creative direction.
